Good Morning!!

GOOD MORNING WORLD!

I have been up since 5:30 this morning! You have no idea how awake I am at this point! I know I am using an excessive amount of exclamation points, but that's okay! And no, to answer all those questions that you have, I am not on coffee or crack for that matter! This is an all natural high that you can only achieve through endorphins and seeing your favorite coach in the world!

So, you see, I had diving practice this morning. This was the first one I have ever been to. I am so super stoked about this season. Hahaha, that was a lot of s's. I sound like Helen, hahaha! Sorry, Schwester, ich liebe dich!! Ferser! I nailed my approach after a little bit. I was a smidgen scared at the beginning. I seriously love Coach Bobbie! She is the best coach you could ever ask for! She truely cares about you and your health plus, being the best swimmer or diver you could be. That makes me happy!

Well, I am too hyper for the people around me, so I am sitting here blogging and eating my Pop-Tart! It's berry flavored. Yumm-o! I have to pick the rest of my quotes to analyze for Melby's class. I am sitting here, straight chillin', until he gives us instructions.

Oh, and it is also storming like mad outside. Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore. Well, we might have to take tornado positions soon, so adios! I am out like the lights after the power lines fall. Peace!

This is what we are going to see shortly. Good day, or not so much.

School's In Session

Today I would like to talk, well, really type, about my life at Gavit High School. I will talk about the people, the sights, and well, whatever else I feel like.

First Hour: POE (Principles of Engineering)
Teacher: Kun
Locale: All the way on the other side of the building
Review:
Let's see...you guys pretty much know about POE from my previous posts. We are going to start building a ballistic device! I am excited on a whole new level. I love how chill we are in here.

Second Hour: Honors Algebra 2B
Teacher: Fehr
Locale: Convenient on the 3rd floor
Review:
I love math. I am good at math. I like this class. My classmates are funny. My teacher does a wicked Mickey Mouse impression. We get homework, but it isn't so bad. Oh, and we only take one test a term. Thank goodness for 10 question quizzes.

Third Hour: AP German
Teacher: Frau (Yeah, just Frau.)
Locale: Right on the way to lunch
Review:
This class is epic. I love every single person in the room. We are pretty much the most awesome group ever assembled. We are learning about past/future tense and Halloween words. I can't wait for all of our field trips! Ich spreche Deutsch sher gut!

Lunch: B
Teacher: Yeah, right.
Locale: Down the hall and to your right
Review:
We crack jokes, we laugh at very loud decibels, we have fun, and we talk about everything under the sun. 'Nuff said.

Fourth Hour: Chemistry 1A
Teacher: Paige
Locale: By Helen and Lauren's lockers
Review:
I dislike the subject with all of my being. The teacher is pretty cool sometimes. My friends don't sit by me. This class isn't so good. :(

Fifth Hour: Honors English 10A
Teacher: Melby
Locale: Close to my locker
Review:
This is a class full of my class, the Class of 2013. I love most of them, some are okay, and some irritate me. Melby is scatterbrained, funny, and just Melby. It works for her. I sit by Jessica, which saves me my sanity most days. The vocab skits that we have put on are amazing! I was Elvis Presley and then I was British. That's all you really need to know...I like this class, as long as we aren't writing boring, broad prompts that make me bang my head against a telephone pole.

Well, that's my school day. It has highs and lows. But I can't help but love it. Until next time loves...

Misc. Mumblings

Today, I feel like talking about a variety of different things. Random thoughts, movie reviews, and well, life. My life, to be exact.

We have a new project in POE. It is a ballistic device for a ping pong. I'm so excited for the final project, getting there may be a challenge though.... Helen is my partner again this time. I know how I want to build it, but with the pieces that we are supposed to use, I am not sure how it's going to turn out. I'll keep you updated.

I also love my AP German class. They make me smile every 3rd hour. We are an eclectic group to say the least, but together we are a family, through and through. We laugh with and at each other. We bring in snacks because we have B lunch. We speak in German, or at least make a valiant attempt. Oh, and today we will sing Happy Birthday to Chris. Friday is the push-up contest and I cannot wait. BTW, you are dirty, you cannot go.

Just a thought: Maybe people should put creative writing into the school's curriculum and not just essay writing. I can write an essay by now, with little research and hardly any effort. I would love to be a writer when I "grow up," but if I don't know how to write a piece of real literature, I won't last a day out there. As students we write a persuasive essay, after a research paper, after a informational piece. Where is the creativity in that? When you hear writers speak, all them seem to talk about is how great it feels to write about whatever they wish. When you hear teachers speak, they talk about how boring it is to read the same paper over and over. So why don;t you give the students the freedom that the Bill of Rights gave us, and let us write about whatever we wish to. Both parties would be happy and satisfied with this; however, we continue to write mind-numbing essays about nothing.

Another thing that crosses my mind all the time, is why do I need a boyfriend? I am perfectly happy with my friends, both guys and girls, just the way they are. When I find a guy that cares about me and treats me well and asks me out for himself in person, then I will have a boyfriend. So just lay off. I don't need a boy with me 24/7 to be fulfilled in life. 'Nuff said.

On a much happier note, I get a new phone Saturday. It's the Gravity 2! :)
